OPen source ORienteering electronic CONtrol.
This is a DIY system for electronic timing for use in Radio Orienteering competitions, but should be adaptable for other sorts of Sport or Orienteering. All the designs on this site are developed from the original OPORCON system published by Stipe Predanić. Please visit this site for a detailed explanation of how this simple but brilliant system works.
This system has been used in events in Southern England since 2011.
PC software is used to read the buttons and to directly create .KOR files (correction files for FjwW software).
A results listing is then created using FjwW and published to the web.
